Project snapshot
From an undefined service idea to a buildable product platform.
Korpa began before the product category, service model or operating workflows had been fully defined. We led a comprehensive discovery phase spanning stakeholder alignment, market and category research, user needs, service operations, technical feasibility and commercial positioning before committing to a solution.
The resulting blueprint became the foundation for an end-to-end build: a marketing and membership website, a data-rich desktop application for private clients and service teams, a mobile companion, shared platform services, internal operations tooling, a scalable design system, quality assurance and release preparation.

Approach
We treated the wardrobe as a long-lived asset system and designed the digital product together with the human service behind it—from intake and digitisation to planning, movement, care, valuation and recovery.
01 / Discovery
Build evidence before defining the interface.
The discovery programme mapped the needs of private clients, wardrobe managers, stylists and concierge operations. Stakeholder interviews, category and competitor analysis, workflow mapping and jobs-to-be-done research revealed where information was lost, which decisions required expert support and which moments could be made self-service.
02 / Product definition
Connect physical wardrobe operations to one digital system.
Research was translated into a service blueprint, product principles, information architecture and a phased delivery roadmap. The core model connected every item with ownership, condition, provenance, valuation, location, availability, planned use, logistics and service history—giving the website, applications and concierge team one consistent source of truth.

Research and product discovery
We aligned the venture vision with customer and operational reality through stakeholder interviews, market mapping, audience segmentation, journey research and service workflow analysis. Assumptions were documented, prioritised and converted into testable product hypotheses, product requirements and a sequenced roadmap.
Service, UX and product design
Service blueprints connected digital touchpoints with audit, photography, storage, delivery, care and concierge work. We designed the information architecture, interaction model and key journeys, then iterated wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes through structured reviews and usability validation before engineering handoff.
Platform architecture and data foundation
A shared domain model was created for clients, collections, items, valuations, locations, events, requests and service activity. Versioned APIs, permission boundaries, media workflows and asynchronous jobs let the public website, private applications and internal tools evolve without duplicating business logic or fragmenting data.
Website, desktop and mobile development
The public website explains the service and manages private-access applications. The desktop workspace supports collection oversight, planning, valuation and concierge coordination, while the mobile experience keeps inventory, upcoming events, requests and time-sensitive decisions available away from the desk. Internal tools support intake, enrichment and ongoing service delivery.
Quality, release and operational readiness
Component, integration and end-to-end tests were paired with responsive, accessibility and workflow checks across customer and operational surfaces. Staged environments, controlled releases, observability, data migration procedures and operational documentation prepared both the software and service team for dependable day-to-day use.
Connected product
One system across collection intelligence, planning and concierge delivery.
Clients get a calm, useful view of what they own, where it is, how its value changes and what is needed next. Service teams work from the same records to coordinate audits, sourcing, packing, delivery, care and recovery. Shared workflows preserve context as a request moves between the website, desktop application, mobile experience and human concierge support.


Technology
A modular platform for rich media, sensitive data and service operations.
The experience layer combines a responsive web platform with a data-rich desktop workspace and cross-platform mobile client. Reusable interface primitives and typed contracts keep collection, planning and service workflows consistent across surfaces, while the marketing website and private product can evolve at different release cadences.
Platform services manage identity, permissions, collection records, valuation history, requests, events and media processing. A relational source of truth, object storage, background processing and searchable metadata support large visual inventories. Automated delivery, end-to-end testing, error tracking and operational monitoring make changes safer from development through production.
